About the Role
We are seeking a Research Assistant (E1) to support our R&D synthesis team at Sparge Chem, Pune. You will independently execute synthesis experiments, contribute to process optimisation, and help characterise novel compounds for our specialty chemicals portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Organic / Pharmaceutical Chemistry with 1–3 years lab experience
- Hands-on experience with common synthesis techniques (reflux, distillation, recrystallisation)
- Ability to interpret NMR spectra and HPLC chromatograms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with heterocyclic chemistry or API synthesis
- Working knowledge of SciFinder, Reaxys, or CAS databases
- Exposure to process chemistry or scale-up reactions
